Leading Life Initiative - initiatives
Healthy leadership on a biological basisIn nature leadership is a survival mechanism. Good leadership protects the living organism against threats and ensures space to live and breed. The biological principles of leadership can help us to lead life in a better way. This is true for your own personal life as well as for business projects, departments and enterprises. Good leadership makes the flourish as is proven on a daily basis.
This is why we enthusiastically support these principles in daily life. Their useability is almost universal. This is what makes it enormously fascinating and inspiring. It’s this fascination we’d like to share. The Pracsens Leading Life Initiative is realizing this by support a large diversity of initiatives, ideas and projects. This page shows some examples of these initiatives. Next to this we’re committed to sharing knowledge about this kind of leadership as widely as possible.
Reviltalisation of local enterprises and economy
Improve liveliness of communities from the inside out
Initiative
A lot is going on in today’s society and economy. Covid-19 speeds up changes that had a big impact on their own. Online shopping, banking and other technological developments encourage the transition from physical local shops and offices to remote shopping, working, relationships etcetera. This causes huge changes for people, whether in their role as consumer, employee or member of society. Implementing these changes and their impact on their local community creates a need for support and facilitation in this area.
Open, involved and leadership
Based on experience with Enterprise Facilitation in 250 cities across 4 countries we can expect for a city of approx. 27.000 citizens the following number of support requests on a yearly basis (pre covid estimation, source E. Sirolli).
390 – 520 facilitation requests
65 – 91 new enterprises or extentions
65 – 156 new jobs
10 – 20 mln additional revenue

Fexible effective work division (in-/outsourcing)
Principles from biology in our daily life
Initiative
Just as every living being consists of cells, every organisation consists of groups of people. Examples of this are, departments and projects but also expertise groups, suppliers, shareholders and customers. This large diversity of groups and their interests makes it important to spend enough attention to in-/out group behaviour, Often times lots of energy, frustration and money are lost on friction between the groups. Interestsm, power, resources or territories are the subject of battles that add absolutely nothing to the company’s operational results.
Leadership
It’s important for organisations to be organized around group behaviour so that boundaries between groups are clear and defined in such a way that they add to instead of prevent cooperation. They should be set up in such a way that decisions naturally flow through the right place in the organisation. This prevents stress and loss of money and time spend in the organisation. Which, in turn, improves the quality of live for employees and overall quality of the products produced and customer experience. The pay back of this approach is noticeable and direct.
Effective reintegration from social security
Saving money with effective reintegration
Initiative
Currently many people are stuck in social security programs. They want to get out but aren’t able to. The interests, procedures and rules of the social security programs keep the lock in. The caregiver’s self-esteem and income depend on helping the caretaker. So caregiver’s main interest goes against the interest of a independent caretaker. The caretaker even risks his/her right t care when initiatives are taken to improve the situation. This makes that parties involved each acting from their own perspective keep the situation locked in place. Targets, agreements, goal setting and planning don’t make enough of a difference to overcome this hurdle.
Involved, leadership
Aproach the caretaker in a different way. Listen, seek out passions and adversities. What makes the person tick, what does he/she really like and what not. Work with empathy, connect and try to find out specific options and opportunities together. Involve the caretaker and caregiver in equal ways and in connection to their environment. When the caretaker isn’t willing or able to work in cooperation to solve problems and reintegrate a low cost regime will be implemented.
Initiative
A strong focus on efficiency allows doctors, psychiatrists and therapists less and less time to spend with patients. Limits enforced by insurance companies make that they are more and more stuck in a web of standard test, diagnoses, treatment protocols and procedures. The relationship between patient and therapist decreases significantly as is the effectiveness of therapy. Room for improvement.
Open, involved
Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems are very strong when it comes to finding patterns, this also goes for finding patterns in human behaviour. Verbal and non-verbal like facial expressions, intonation, chose of words etcetera. This can be extended with physical indicators like heartrate, blood pressure and brain activity. In addition to this AI is getting better and better ate interpretation of natural language and responding in a human like way. This makes that AI systems are getting more and more suitable to support or even replace therapists. AI systems are, if properly trained, better than humans in detecting damaging behavioural and thought patterns. This opens possibilities to have AI supporting patient in breaking with these patterns and replacing them with more positive ones.
Later implementations of these kind of systems could tarin human therapists in observational and therapeutical skills. This comparable with how currently check masters and go players train their skills using AI.
A.I. awareness for complex control systems
Control systems in consultation
Initiative
Developments in the world of artificial intelligence are moving at a very fast pace. More and more control systems are using AI systems and techniques. This allows better control over complex systems but there are downsides too. It becomes, for example, harder for people to grasp and understand why the control system is acting in a certain way and to predict what it will do next.
Betrokken en leiderschap
The ‘natural intelligence’ of the human brain is based on two processes, a dynamic core with a stabilizing protecting layer. The same setup can be implemented using AI. This way we can add a stabilizing protective layer. This makes the control systems ‘self aware’ and allows them to adjust their behaviour to accommodate their human controllers. This will greatly improve the interaction between humans and control systems. Safety and predictability can be improved by synchronizing the automated actions with human activities.
The power of the autistic-spectrum
Acknowledge instead of seeing it as a problem
Initiative
Our research shows that for people in the autistic spectrum the process in the brain are dominant which we in another, more poetic, context call the soul. Th processes in the brain dealing with direct interaction in the current moment. This shows us two things. One, it’s a part of our humanity that’s available in all of us. It’s the dominance of the core of us being human. Second, in these cases it’s not a disorder. If it’s a disorder to speak of than it lays at the other side, at the incapability of modern humans and society to deal with what makes us human. In a society in which more and more people are in a continues state of alertness, in which protection mechanisms are full time activated and dominant.
Involved, leadership
We can gain a lot by taking the core of our being seriously, acknowledging and taking care of it by leading it in a natural way. Autism gives us insight in our deeper inner core. This insight helps in understanding our own behaviour and allows us to get to a society in which autism is no longer seen as a disorder perse. It gives people the recognition they deserve and see their added value clearly. Understand their preference for in-group behaviour and understand the out-group behaviour that other prefer.
